SPEAK TO REMIND

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 22, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Speak to Remind. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of the Service

Speak to Remind lets users create reminders by voice or text, review and edit reminder details, receive notifications, optionally connect Google Calendar, and prepare text messages for saved contacts.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account. Please use accurate information and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Reminder Accuracy

Voice recognition, notifications, internet connections, device settings, third-party services, and software can fail or misinterpret information. You are responsible for reviewing reminder details before saving and for maintaining any other backup method you consider necessary for important appointments or obligations.

Notifications

Speak to Remind is designed to send notifications at selected times, but delivery is not guaranteed. Notifications may be delayed or prevented by device settings, browser restrictions, battery optimization, network outages, service interruptions, or other factors outside our control.

Google Calendar

Google Calendar integration is optional. If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize Speak to Remind to create, update, and delete calendar events as necessary to perform the actions you request. Google services are governed by Google's own terms and policies.

Text Messaging

Speak to Remind does not silently send text messages on your behalf. The app may prepare message text and open your device's messaging application, but you are responsible for reviewing the recipient, message content, and any carrier charges before sending.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Speak to Remind, including by attempting to:

  • Access another person's account or data without permission.
  • Interfere with, damage, overload, or disrupt the service.
  • Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Reverse engineer or bypass security measures except where permitted by law.

Third-Party Services

Speak to Remind relies on third-party providers, including hosting, database, authentication, browser notification, and Google services. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions of third-party services beyond our control.

Service Changes

We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms as the service evolves.

No Warranty

Speak to Remind is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or that every reminder or notification will be delivered.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer and operators of Speak to Remind will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from missed reminders, missed appointments, lost data, third-party service failures, or reliance on the service.

Termination

You may stop using Speak to Remind at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.

Governing Terms

These Terms are intended to apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
